The ‘Elepaio is a publication of the Hawai‘i Audubon Society that contains peer-reviewed scientific articles, updates on local environmental issues, and HAS activities. Published since 1939 (typically every other month), the ‘Elepaio serves as a historical record of conservation research, activities, and news in Hawai‘i and throughout the Pacific.
The ‘Elepaio welcomes submissions
that relate to our mission:
“To foster community values that result in the protection
and restoration of native wildlife and ecosystems, and
conservation of natural resources through education,
science and advocacy in Hawai‘i and the Pacific.”
