Kalaeokaunaʻoa (Kahuku Point) Workday followed by Albatross Tour (Oʻahu)

Kalaeokaunaʻoa (Kahuku Point) is a rare undeveloped coastline hosting native plants and animals on Oʻahu’ northernmost point. Join the North Shore Community Land Trust on their community workdays to remove weeds, plant native plants, and pick up trash. Work sessions end with a tour of the area’s mōlī (Laysan Albatross) nesting sites.

Meeting point: Turtle Bay Resort parking lot, near the Paradise Helicopters helipad
Date: Every second Saturday of the month
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

At the parking lot, a guide leads volunteers on a one-mile coastal hike (about 20 minutes) to Kalaeokaunaʻoa. Restoration work includes activities for all ages and skill levels.
