2024: Year of the Forest Birds

“MAKAHIKI O NĀ MANU NAHELE: YEAR OF THE FOREST BIRDS” It’s official: The year 2024 is for the birds, thanks to Governor Josh Green signing the proclamation. At yesterday’s event, Hawai’i Audubon Society’s President, Susan Scott, spoke about our organization’s long commitment to the protection, education, and joy of birds. Thanks to conservation efforts by countless caring people, we have a place for joy and reasons to hope. We look forward to joining our partner organizations this year and beyond in sharing information about, and celebrating, Hawaiʻi’s magnificent birds.
