Annual Meeting & Member’s Dinner 2023
We held our Annual Meeting & Members Dinner on Nov 5, 2023 at Bishop Museum’s Atherton Hālau. Thank you to everyone who came. The highlight of the night was the presentation by HPR’s Manu Minute host UH Hilo Prof. Patrick Hart, titled “How bird song can inform conservation and management of Hawai‘i’s birds.”
We were also lucky enough to view a display of carved Hawaiian Honeycreepers to raise awareness of Hawai’i’s native forest birds. Japan’s master woodcarver Haruo Uchiyama collaborated with Bishop Museum to create these exquisite life-like carvings. Learn more about them here.
