When: Sunday, January 26, 9:00–10:30 AM
Where: Kapiʻolani Park, Waikīkī
Calling all bird enthusiasts! Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious about the feathered friends in our urban oasis, this walk is for you.
During this year’s Christmas Bird Count, we found 18 species and counted an impressive 2,025 individual birds at Kapiʻolani Park. Let’s see how many of them we can spot again on January 26!
Bring your binoculars, a hat, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure. We’ll explore the park’s lush greenery and learn more about the birds that call this area home.
This is a family-friendly event, so bring your ʻohana and enjoy a morning connecting with nature!
RSVP to Rich Downs by text at 808-379-7555 or just show up – we’ll meet at the makai end of the parking lot near the pond behind the bandstand.
We can’t wait to see you there!
