Service Trip at Mount Kaʻala (Oʻahu)

[TOUR FULL] Hawaiʻi Audubon Society Service Trip to Mount Kaʻala. Limited number of volunteers (6, over age 18). Active HAS members get first choice. Meeting Place: Waialua District Park- 67-180 Goodale Ave, Waialua, HI 96791
Time: 9am – 3 or 4pm
Activity: Invasive species control and Hawaiian flora and fauna hike
What to Bring:
– Liability Waivers printed and signed (available on Hawaiʻi Audubon website at https://hiaudubon.org/bird-walks/)

– Closed toed shoes. Rain boots or hiking boots will work best
– Hiking Attire. Long sleeves and pants recommended. Extra set of clothes
– Rain GearYou may get a bit wet and muddy
– Water, Lunch, and snacks
– Sun Protection, sunscreen, hat
– May want to bring camera or binoculars if that’s your thing
